Welcome to the new Chatham Village website! You will find useful and historic information about our community, along with many photos from its earliest days to present times. To the right are informative sections with current news in addition to the tabs above. There's a special section just for our members (log-in required) with access to our Member Directory, CV Club Calendar events, current and past Chatham Village Times newsletters, necessary forms and documents, and other helpful links. Click on the tabs above to visit each page.

Chatham Village combines the charm of an English country village with the convenience of modern urban living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Built in 1932, Chatham Village was designated a National Historic Landmark by the United States Secretary of the Interior in 2005. This quiet retreat from the bustle of city life boasts nearly 26 acres of natural woodland.

The Steel City Ukuleles was founded right here in Chatham Village in June 2011, and will be performing at our holiday party on December 10. Meeli Lee, Jan Ban, and Marlene Parrish were among the original 24 players. There are now 400-plus members, with sub-groups meeting in Regent Square, the Mt. Lebanon Library, and in the North Hills. The community group promotes education, fellowship, and entertainment among ukulele enthusiasts in the greater Pittsburgh area. Players of all ages, from beginners to professionals, are welcome to join. (If you don't know the music, just sing louder!)

IN THE NEWS
For those wanting to share in the legacy of Chatham Hall, the Club Board has put together a “storyboard” wish list of items needed to enhance the interior of the building. The “storyboard“ is located in the CV office and has pictures and descriptions of items needed to refurbish the parlor. Please stop by to see if there is something you may want to consider donating, whether a whole item or a partial donation towards a particular item, with tax deductible monies paid to the Charitable Trust designated for the Clubhouse.
